23 years of vision and innovation has led us to deliver some of Australia’s industry leading Industrial structures.

Complex Metal Fabrications • Switchrooms • e-Houses • Substations • Signal Huts • Control Rooms • Structural Steel Stairs and Landings • Modular Constructions • Hydraulic and Mechanical Rooms

CTB Industries has extensive experience manufacturing and supplying the petrochemical, refining, power generation, chemical and marine industries.

Our facility on Kooragang Island (NSW) provides us with a unique capability to manufacture and engineer custom and complex metal fabrications for any industry, nationally and internationally.

CTB can supply completed assemblies utilising mild and high-strength steels through to special alloys and all grades of aluminium and stainless steel including: SAF 2101, 2304, 2205 and 2507; Aluminium in 5000, 6000 and 7000 series; low alloy and bisalloy steels and passivation after fabrication.

Our blasting and painting facility is housed in a 30m x 18m x 7m booth which is atmospherically controlled and weatherproof. Operated by technically skilled and competent staff, blast media and painting is applied according to specifications, standards and job type and size.

Our facility offers indoor manufacturing processes; pre-testing of all building inclusions (such as customised air-conditioning, static air-flow ventilation etc) and durable designs that promise low ongoing building maintenance. Design services include structural design from preliminary to final stages with third party certification and through life support.

Project Spotlight – Gorgon

GORGON PROJECT

All 11 of CTB’s buildings for the Gorgon Project were designed, engineered and manufactured to comfortably exist in category 5 cyclonic area as well as handle relevant earthquake loads. They all have floor deflections parameters of no more than 1mm within any one meter in any direction to protect the electrical equipment housed within the rooms.

To accommodate the requirements and meet strict guidelines regarding the category 5 cyclones CTB had roll formers manufactured specifically for the project to rollform the cladding to be produced from 1.2mm thick sheet to ensure the prevention of airborne projectile penetration during a cyclone.
